

Solution twoįrom the MS-DOS prompt, type in the lines below, pressing Enter after each line. Once back at the MS-DOS prompt, reboot the computer to get back into Windows. Type REM in front of the following line in the config.sys file. Some users were able to fix this issue by creating a dedicated CMD shortcut. To change the aspect of the number box (color, border or shadow) click on the number and select in the breadcrumbs the content box just before the paragraph. This would open the simple command prompt. Then enter the cmd /k ipconfig /all command and hit Enter. Type cmd and then click on the OK button. Press the Windows + R key to open a Run window. Once back at the prompt, type edit config.sys. There’s a specific command you can run to tell Command Prompt to stay open. Once the lines above are remarked, if applicable, click File, Save, and click Exit. However, if they are present, remark these lines (comment them out, to disable them without deleting them).

Not all these lines may be in your autoexec.bat.

In the autoexec.bat file, type REM with a space after it, in front of the following lines of autoexec.bat. Type edit autoexec.bat at the C:\> prompt. What I did was, I used Malwarebytes to solve the malware problem. I had this when I downloaded random stuffs without an antivirus and malware care softwares (by disabling the windows security systems, lol). The famous reason for this problem to hop into your computer is malware. I just had this problem which flashes the Command Prompt in front of ur screen when is on idle or working. THESE STEPS SOLVED THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM FOR ME!
